Protonmail is a
secure email service which provide end to end encryption. To protect
email contents and user data before they are sent to server it uses
client side encryption. Protonmail is run by Protonmail technologies
and the default account setup is free but if you want to use its
service then you have to use paid services.
It is impossible to
recover your lost password because for the security concerns we do
not access your decryption password. The only option is to lose all
of your previous encrypted emails by resetting it or to create a new
password. If user still want to reset their account password then
they have to follow the given steps:
- Firstly user
have to go to Prontonmail account settings page.
- Now click on the
recovery Email box.
- Add your
recovery email address.
- Click on the
save button.
- Now click on the
change password.
- A verification
mail or unique code will be sent to your recovery mail id to chnge
your password.
To create a strong
password you need to use a different password for each of your
accounts or use a mix letters numbers or symbols in your password.if
